The Andvari - Photography Week 19 (2016)

There is a pleasant walk along Penryn Harbour towards Flushing passing many moored boats including some, like the Andvari, that have seen better days.

The name Andvari presumably comes from Norse mythology and means "careful one". Andvari was a dwarf that lived underneath a waterfall guarding a gold ring and had the power to change himself into a fish (1,2).

Unfortunately, the Andvari no longer lives up to its name but it does make a good photographic subject:
